Chris Leach

Former Petersham Nurseries chef Chris Leach is founder of, and chef at, the acclaimed restaurant, Manteca in London.

Manteca is a modern Italian-British restaurant focused on nose-to-tail cooking and fire-cooked meat recently voted the 11th Best Restaurant in Britain at the National Restaurant Awards.

Think hand-rolled pasta and big meat and fish sharing dishes. In terms of sourcing, it’s almost entirely focussed on Britain and Chris works closely with farmers and suppliers across the whole country to find the best, most sustainable ingredients.

Chris will host an exceptional fire-cooked feast in The Walled Garden of Hawarden Castle on Saturday 13th May.
