North East Scotland, Kincardineshire and Aberdeenshire have some of the most beautiful scenery in Britain. The hills and forests are wild and vast, the weather unpredictable. Yet amidst this immense and unruly landscape lives a strong community of small and independent businesses, a thriving local economy of supportive and passionate people.
We worked alongside photographer, Jamie Brogan, to create a picture of the small businesses we admire. For each one, we have asked three to four questions about their lives and work. Take a look!

Founded and owned by Grace Noble, Aberdeenshire Highland Beef provides a farm to fork experience. The highland beef cuts are from the 100% pure pedigree herd, traditionally hung and matured on the farm. Grace is passionate about farming and education.
