OUR COVID-19 POLICY

Camp Good Life (Autumn) - 2021

Action required by all guests.

As per recommendations, we will ask all ticket holders (aged 5 years and over) to demonstrate their COVID-19 status upon arrival at the event gates before entering. Your status can be generated by providing ONE of the following:

  • Proof of a negative Lateral Flow Test within 24 hours of your arrival at the security gates uploaded to the NHS app. If you do not have access to the app you can log your (as well as your children’s) results here.
Lateral Flow Tests will NOT be available at the event.
Please make sure that order your Lateral Flow Tests well in advance here.

  • Proof of being vaccinated with both doses (with the second dose being received at least 14 days before the date of the event).

  • Proof of natural immunity following a positive PCR test (providing it has been at least 10 days since your PCR test and up to 180 days after taking the test)

Please note proof of vaccination, and negative lateral flow tests must be uploaded to the NHS app. This is different to the NHS Covid-19 (Track & Trace) application.

If you were vaccinated in Wales, you can generate a COVID pass here.

Parents are responsible for the testing of their children and submission of their results.

Regarding face masks, we will be following regional government guidelines.

Further FAQs

About our COVID-19 Policy.

What should I do if I test positive for COVID-19?

If you test positive for COVID-19 you will need to self isolate, not attend or travel to the event and follow NHS guidance.

I have been told to self-isolate, what should I do?

If you are contacted directly and asked to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace you must self-isolate immediately and follow NHS Guidance. This means you will not be able to attend the event, so please act responsibly, stay at home and protect the wider community.

What if I, or someone coming to the event with me is identified as a close contact before or whilst we are at the event?

If this happens prior to or while at the event then you will need to follow Government Guidance.

How do I gain entry to Camp Good Life?

To gain access to the event you need to show your NHS COVID Pass along with your valid booking confirmation (this will be in your emails) for entry.

Do I take my test at home or on arrival?

Please take your NHS Lateral Flow Test at home as close to the event as possible. Results must be uploaded to the NHS App, which can take up to two hours.

When do I need to take my Lateral Flow Tests?

Please take your test the day before your arrival at Camp Good Life and log it in your NHS App. It can take up to 2 hours to validate your NHS COVID Pass so it is worth logging your test the night before you are due to arrive.

How do I obtain an NHS Lateral Flow Test?

  1. Order to your home address here.

  2. Pick up from your local chemist.

  3. Go to your local community testing centre.

We recommend ordering your tests as soon as possible.

I'm fully vaccinated, do I need to provide proof of a negative Lateral Flow Test?

No. If you have received both doses of the vaccine 14 days ahead of the event you will not need to take a Lateral Flow Test. If you are aged 18 or over and are registered with a GP in England you can provide proof of your vaccination status through the NHS COVID Pass in the NHS App. All other ticket holders will be required to show a negative Lateral Flow Test taken within 24hrs of attending the event or proof of Natural Immunity. These should both be uploaded and recorded on the NHS App.

I’m having issues with the NHS App and/or registering with the NHS website. What should I do?

If you are having problems with the NHS App or website we encourage you to contact the NHS App team here

What is the NHS App?

The NHS App can be downloaded to your smartphone and is the place where you will be able to generate and view your NHS COVID Pass. Please note the NHS App is separate from the NHS Covid-19 (Track & Trace) App. It can take up to 24 hours to verify your NHS App account so please download and register a minimum of 24 hours to ensure you have no issues getting access to your NHS COVID Pass.

What is the difference between the NHS Covid-19 (Track & Trace) App and the NHS App?

The NHS Covid-19 App (required for checking in to venues and test and trace) and NHS App are two different apps. The NHS Covid-19 (Track & Trace) App will not be required for this event. The NHS App is required for hosting your NHS COVID Pass to enter the event.

What if I don't have a smartphone and cannot use the NHS App or NHS Website?

If you do not own a smartphone or computer you can still log a negative NHS LFD test result by calling the phone number in your test kit’s instructions. After registering you will receive a text message confirming your negative test result from the NHS that you can provide upon entry to the event. If you are fully vaccinated you can request an NHS COVID Pass Letter via the NHS Website. The letter may take up to 5 working days to reach you, so ensure you order in good time before attending the event.

How do I prove my negative NHS Lateral Flow Test?

After taking your NHS Lateral Flow Test, you can log your result on the NHS App. You will be able to use the NHS COVID Pass to show your negative Lateral Flow status. Please note your negative test result can take up to 2 hours to appear in the NHS App.

What if I received my vaccinations in Wales or Scotland?

You will be required to present proof of a negative Lateral Flow Test, with either an NHS text message or by following your own Government's guidance on obtaining proof of a negative Lateral Flow test/double vaccination.

Can I come to Camp Good Life if I'm not fully vaccinated?

Yes. If you have not received both doses of your vaccination at least 14 days prior to attending, you will need to show proof of a negative NHS Lateral Flow test to gain entry to the event. Please take your test before your arrival to the event and report it through the NHS App. We strongly recommend you order your free lateral flow tests as soon as possible.

I recently tested positive for COVID-19, how will I provide proof of a negative test result?

If you've previously tested positive for COVID-19 using a PCR test, taken within 180 days of the event and it's been at least 10 days since your positive results, you are eligible for an NHS COVID Pass. You can apply for this through the NHS App.

Can I get tested on site?

There will not be a testing facility onsite. Please do your NHS Lateral Flow Test at home before you arrive.

What precautions will the event be taking to minimise the risk?

As always, our priority is the safety of customers, artists, staff and the wider community, and we have worked in full consultation with all relevant authorities to put the appropriate measures in place and follow all Government guidance.

Will I have to wear a face covering / practice social distancing during the event?

No. There will be no need for social distancing and we will be following regional guidelines on mask wearing. Most of the event takes place outdoors however which allows for more space, and more air circulation in tents, too.

What should I do if I have COVID-19 symptoms when I’m at the event?

If you are experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19 at the event, you will be required to leave immediately and return to your home address in order to complete your period of self-isolation and continue to follow advice from NHS Test & Trace.

I do not want to attend the event, will I get a refund?

We are going ahead with all legal restrictions lifted and appropriate measures in place. As always, our priority is the safety of customers, artists, staff and the wider community, and we have worked in full consultation with all relevant authorities to put the appropriate measures in place and follow all Government guidance. As the event is going ahead we will not be offering refunds based on a covid result, but we will allow you to roll tickets into another event.

If I don’t want to take a COVID-19 test to gain entry to the event, can I get a refund?

You have the option to provide proof you have had a full course of the COVID-19 Vaccine, with your second dose at least 14 days prior to the event instead or show proof of immunity. If neither of these options are available/they do not apply to you we will not be able to process a refund as we have worked in full consultation with all relevant authorities to put the appropriate options in place to follow all Government guidance.

If I test positive/am told to isolate, can I get a refund?

If you test positive for COVID-19 using an NHS Lateral Flow Test or PCR test you will need to self isolate immediately and follow NHS guidance. This means you will not be able to attend Camp Good Life, so please act responsibly, stay at home to protect the wider community. This event is going ahead with all legal restrictions lifted and appropriate measures in place and will therefore not be able to offer refunds directly as a result of a positive covid test or requirement of self isolation here.
