We love dogs in Hawarden.
Hawarden Estate has many walking routes and beautiful forest to explore. There are many amazing beaches on the coast of North Wales, where we know your dog will have a great time. We’ve written a list of our favourite dog-friendly walks at the bottom of the page.
Enjoy an adventure-fuelled day with your dog, and then relax in luxury afterwards in our luxury holiday cottage, Gardener’s House, in North Wales, each designed to the highest specification. There is plenty of enclosed garden space for your dogs to play in, as well as longer walks on the Estate and days out nearby.
Are you look for a festival to bring your dog to? Well, you can bring your dog along to one of our micro-festivals that run throughout July. Summer Camp runs for four days, and is filled with activities for you, with plenty of space and time for your dog to enjoy their holiday, too.
If you’re looking for a day out, then our Walled Garden School might be just what you’re looking for. Workshops, cooking classes, yoga classes and more. All workshops are dog-friendly.
We also recommend that you book into The Glynne Arms in Hawarden for a dog-friendly drink or dinner. Head to Chester Market, which is about 20 minutes away, for an amazing selection of restaurants and bars.

Sleeps 2, in a brand new hut in the Walled Garden. Outdoor kitchen, amazing bathrooms and a location like no other.
