When I first met Caroline, I rarely drank water. In my family it was booze or tea or coffee or perhaps even squash (does squash still exist?). Anyway, she told me that I needed to drink water and today I am never without a bottle to hand.
In my search for the perfect bottle I have, perhaps inevitably, been through a lot. And with this I have truly alighted on the perfect one; the carry handle is perfect, the bottle’s size is really good and I love the cold, clean feel of the metal.
These are small things in the scheme of things, but good design is good design and this is great. It makes my days a little bit better.
Our friend Hugo Ross spent months designing this font and then he and I chose the words. I love it. In fact I lost my first one on the day I got it and then I stole Caroline’s (she spotted that and put an enormous bit of masking tape on it to prevent future theft). Now I have another one.
