  • The West End, Hawarden Castle

    Available for exclusive use or as double occupancy B&B rooms. Stay in the newly refurbished West End of Hawarden Castle.

  • Gardener's House

    Available for exclusive use or as double occupancy B&B rooms. Expect exceptional comforts in this beautiful Georgian home.

  • Beekeeper's Hut

    You’ll sleep in luxury in a large double bed. The hut and private, covered surrounding area will be kitted out with everything else you need for the ultimate glamping experience.

  • Glamping

    Stay in luxury in a tent kitted out with a double bed, proper sheets and everything else you need for the most comfortable camping experience of your life.

  • Airstream Caravan

    Located in a quiet corner of our Farm Shop Campsite, this 1955 Airstream has a proper double bed, sheets, chairs and its own private canopy and fire pit.

    Camp in comfort in The Walled Garden with z-beds and mattresses set up ready and waiting for you.

    We have a handful of pitches positioned a quiet corner of The Walled Garden, as well as a further few at our Farm Shop Campsite for your live-in vehicle.

  • Bring Your Own Tent

    A short walk from The Walled Garden lies the best campsite in North Wales, on the doorstep of our award-winning Farm Shop. Find pitches to bring your own tent or to stay in one of our simple canvas bell tents with camp beds.

    Summer Camp is a chance to escape, reset and recharge.

    The people you meet, the things you do and the skills you learn will change your life.

    It all happens within the bucolic setting of Hawarden Castle’s Victorian Walled Garden, private lake and parklands.

    You’ll stay in complete comfort at Summer Camp.

    From canvas bell tents with real furniture to world class accommodation, including: a cabin, a cottage, and a castle.

    Food and fire go hand-in-hand at Summer Camp. From well known chefs cooking camp feasts over the fire, to the best local produce stocking the larders for food workshops.

    Hawarden Estate, just inside North Wales, sits 15 minutes from Chester.

    We’re under an hour from Liverpool and Manchester, and just over two hours from London by train.

    During your time at Summer camp you’ll stay beside, or within, castles of national importance - one of which was once home to four-times Prime Minister, William Gladstone.
