James Golding

In 2023, James left his chef director role of 12 years at The Pig Hotel Group to join the Table Talk Foundation charity, now known as Prept.

Now head of food education, James develops workshops, courses, and resources to help children improve their cooking skills and make informed choices about food.

His CV includes time spent at the Savoy, Le Caprice, J Sheekey and Soho House New York and he is a fellow of the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts and chairman of its sustainability committee.

Prept focuses on improving education around food. It works with the Adopt a School Trust to bring professional chefs into primary schools to educate children on nutrition and offer an insight into the hospitality industry.

We’re welcomed James to Hawarden a number of times over the years, so it’ll be great to see him cooking over our fires once again!

James will be cooking on Saturday evening at our Summer Camp Family Weekend in 2025!
