Do I have to book on to any of the classes in advance?
No you don’t, just turn up at the session on the day! All of the workshops and classes are designed so you can dip in and out and so you don’t miss a thing. The only thing you need to book are wellness sessions.

No. Please book this during the weekend.

Do I have to pay for dinner?
Your dinner for all three evenings is included in the ticket price. This is two courses and there will always be vegan and vegetarian options. Get in touch if you have any questions about allergies.

Is Summer Camp suitable for children?
Yes! We host a family-friendly weekend with specific workshops aimed at children, and plenty for adults to do, too!

Can I bring my dog?
Absolutely. The more dogs the merrier!

Can I come and go during the weekend?
Yes! You are welcome to leave the site and return whenever you want.

What’s the difference between a glamping tent and a bell tent ticket?
Glamping tents come with a double bed with a duvet, pillow and sheets, as well as chairs and a table outside the tent. Bell tents come with camp beds with mattresses on and blankets and pillows - guests just need to bring sleeping bags for bell tent bookings.

Is the electric hook up for campervans?
There isn’t, but camper vans are located a two minute walk from all amenities.

We are based on Hawarden Estate, just 20 minutes from Chester.

Can I come and visit the Estate when your events aren’t running?
Yes, we have classes and workshops running all year round at The Walled Garden School and also lots going on across Hawarden Estate. You can stay here all year round in our holiday accommodation, too. Much of the Estate is open as an added benefit when events are running.
