Rob Walker AKA Signs by Umberto

Rob is an artist, artisan & educator based in Marsden, UK who has been coming to Good Life Society Events to host sign writing workshops for years. 

Trained in a multitude of craft techniques, Robert's speciality is in the art of Verre Églomisé, which involves painstakingly painting a design and applying gold leaf onto the rear face of glass, once a commonly-used technique for signage, now an at-risk heritage skill.

Rob will be at Summer Camp every single weekend working on a special collaborative project that will involve every guest.
